Cross the Park Challenge

Cross the Park Challenge is a summer fitness challenge to walk the distance of the Adirondack Park from the northern to southern boarders in 12 weeks - 236.4 miles - June 1st to August 30th!

Track your progress weekly - and check in to report. Don't feel that you will be able to reach the  goal individually - that's okay!  - team up with a friend and walk together!  Each week staff will tally up the average number of miles and post the information on the Cross the Park Challenge Facebook page and on Adirondack Park maps around the community. You can post your milleage on the Facebook page or contact Vonnie Liddle at or Daryl Parslow at and we will add your miles to the total average! Feel free to post pictures and comments about your walk to the Facebook page as well!

There will be a weekly prize opportunity for those who are participating. Awards will be announced at the begining of the week on the Facebook Page or via email. Call Vonnie at 648-5828 to sign up or message us on Facebook!
